HOW TO USE PRIVATE BROWSING MODE IN IOS ?

Private Browsing, introduced by Apple as part of iOS 5, setting for the mobile Safari browser that disables several standard tracking features that are common to most browsers.

Enabling Private Browsing blocks websites from placing cookies on your iOS devices. Cookies can be used by sites to track visitors for advertising purposes, they also enable sites to remember user information that can be used to automatically log a user back in when they revisit the site, or auto-fill certain information. Enabling Private Browsing in user’s side prevents Safari from tracking your page and search history or auto-fill information.

Private Browsing won’t protect you from viruses, data phishing or hacking attempts, or financial or identity theft. What you do while using Private Browsing can still be seen by the server or website you’re connected to, it just won’t be recorded on your iOS device.

WHEN TO USE PRIVATE BROWSING ?

Some users may never need to enable Private Browsing, because cookies enhance a user’s experience on the Web at the time it helps websites to measure traffic. But for users who want no trace of their browsing session, Private Browsing can serve a useful purpose.

Examples of when Private Browsing may include online banking from a friend’s iDevice, online shopping from a shared family iDevice etc..

HOW TO TURN ON OR OFF PRIVATE BROWSING ON IPHONE ?

For Turn ON Private Browsing for iOS 8 Devices,

Step 1:Open Safari browser on your iPhone devices.

Step 2: Than Tap double square box iconTap on for open Private browsing

Step 3: Now, Tap Private for Turn Private browsing Mode ON

Now if you surf on Private browsing mode at that time Safari’s appears Black or dark in color instead of normal color mode like white or Gray.

For iOS 7 or earlier User,
  • Open safari Browser on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
  • Now Tap on plus icon to open new tabTap plus icon to open private browser in iOS 7
  • Last Tap on Private to Turn Private Browsing Off.Private Browsing On iPhone

HOW TO TURN OFF PRIVATE BROWSING ON IPHONE ?

For Turn Off Private Browsing for iOS 8 Devices,

Step 1: Open Safari browser on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Step 2.  Than Tap on double square box icon Tap on for open Private browser

Step 3: Now, Tap Private to Turn Private browsing Mode Off
